Bought the spare for the Model 3. I put it in the boot for longer trips. When positioned right, it only takes up minimal space, considering there’s not many places i can store it.
Good quality bag and substantial tyre. Stores easily in the space behind either of the front seats, meaning no loss of boot space when going on a long trip.

Like other reviews haven't used it yet but its very comforting to have it when we do our next road trip.Had a 5hr issue in the Lewis pass with no cellphone coverage pre purchase of this spare if it was with me then it was a simple change and of to garage 40kms away not sitting roadside getting eaten by sand Flys 😀.
So much happier now to travel into the country with this spare wheel kit in the boot. I have the M3 performance with it’s very low profile tyres that are more likely to be shredded too. I love the bag it all comes in, keeps it all tidily tucked away.
The Braumach spare wheel suites my purpose very well. It is good quality and includes all the necessary tools for a wheel change, great peace of mind for being on a trip. As I like to run a car fridge in the boot, the wheel needed a solution to get it out of the way. I made a simple frame from 25 x 25 x 1.6 aluminium and plastic knock in joiners, this supports the spare wheel up against the upper shelf and allows free space underneath - works for me!
I recently purchased the Braumach spare wheel kit for a Tesla M3 RWD as past experience with non-repairable tyre damage weighed on my mind with modern the 'no spare' approach. I did a dry run with a wheel change in my driveway today (standard 18" wheels) and was very happy with the kit. Forum discussions indicated the torque of the Tesla wheel nuts could be a problem but the extendable wheel nut wrench allowed straight forward removal of the Tesla wheel nuts. The one thing that might come into play with a completely flat is getting the jack and jack puck under the low Tesla body. I am going to make a wooden wedge that would be able to be driven on with a flat tyre to raise that wheel 4 or 5 cm. I hope I never have to use this spare but I know that if I ever have to use it, it will be able to be fitted on the roadside easily.

Although there was some delay in delivery, when I contacted Braumach they were very responsive and my delivery arrived promptly after that. Hoping I won't have to use the spare tyre kit but good to know that I have it now.

Ordered the full wheel kilt but got the wheel first and after escalating got the jack kit a few days later. Overall it looks good. Didn’t realise the wheel is 7 kg heavier than the bare metals wheel.

Ordering was fast and convenient. Arrived in two packages, the accessories and the wheel. No problems with delivery, was delivered as advised on time. Haven't fitted the spare wheel yet but everything I needs is there.
If you're travelling to parts of Oz away from normal motoring support, this is a very useful item to have. Just be aware that it will add 20kg to your car's load and takes quite a lot of space in a Model 3. Mine is packed in behind the passenger seat, with enough padding to ensure that it does not roll around while driving.
